Air is a free and easy-to-use secure messaging app
- Send end-to-end encrypted texts, photos, videos, and documents.

- Air doesn’t collect sensitive information like your phone number or email address, and doesn’t retain metadata, like who you talk to and when.
- Air is open-source, and is based on the Messaging Layer Security (MLS) protocol and other open standards.
- Air is designed, built, and hosted in the European Union (EU).
- Air is not backed by investors or advertisers.
Air is regularly updated with new features and improvements.
It’s still early for Air
Air is new, but the app is built on a solid foundation. You can learn more about this on our privacy page.
However, it’s not fully-featured and not all advanced security measures have been implemented yet.
Air is currently invite-only
To create an account, you need an invite code from an existing Air user.
The Air app is available for Android and iOS. Desktop support is coming soon.
